My house in Gettysburg started smelling musty in the basement after all the rain we had last spring. I finally called someone to do mold testing because I was worried about what was growing behind the drywall. They came in with moisture meters and took air samples in a few different rooms, and it turns out I had some hidden spots near the old stone foundation. Better to know for sure than just guessing with bleach and hope.
